I found out this week that Fellside Weddings Photography has been named a Regional Finalist in the Photographer category at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) 2027, for the North West. The only way in is for couples you’ve actually photographed to vote for you. So being a finalist means one thing: the couples I worked with this year sat down after their wedding and took the time to say something about me. That’s the bit that got me feeling so happy & proud. About Fellside Weddings Photography
I created Fellside Weddings Photography for couples who want their wedding day to feel personal, meaningful and connected to the landscape around them.
Local knowledge, every step of the way Based in Windermere, I’m not someone who travels occasionally to be a Lake District Wedding Photographer, I’m a true local and I know the Lake District’s hidden gems, the weather patterns and the light. And yes I’ve successfully photographed weddings in named stormed with beautiful results.
A relaxed, people-first approach Whether your wedding includes young kids or your dogs by your side, you’ll never be asked to fit into a mould. I work quietly and calmly so you can stay fully present with the people you love.
Storytelling over posing I guide and observe. The glances, the laughter, the tears, the dancing, those are the moments that matter, and they’re the ones I’m always watching for. Your photographs will be honest, warm and as alive as your day itself.
