Fellside Weddings photography by Anna Bailey. That’s me, I’m a female wedding photographer working across the Lake District, Scotland and occasionally further here in Europe.
I’m always chasing the real stuff. The nervous laugh before the vows. The way they can’t wait to catch up after the ceremony and a morning apart.
I keep things relaxed and unobtrusive. I’ll guide you through the day so you’re never stood there wondering what to do with your hands. You just get to be present, and I’ll do the rest.
I’m genuinely interested in the people I get to meet through this wonderful job of mine.

family life
I’m a mum of two gorgeous kids and have recently celebrated ten years of marriage. We actually tied the knot here in the Lake District, so I know first-hand just how special this place is for celebrating your story and gathering your favourite people.
Outdoors
When I'm not photographing you and your dearest or spending time with my little people, you'll probably find me running on the fells. I've got a few ultramarathons under my belt, which I've completed alongside great friends.
In front of the lens and behind
Before photography, I worked as a fashion and commercial model — in the UK, and abroad in Paris, Spain, Greece and America. I know what it feels like to stand in front of a camera: the good sessions where you forget it's even happening, and the ones where every second feels like it's being watched. Over those years I was photographed by fashion and commercial photographers across very different shoots and setups, and I paid close attention to what made the difference. How people were directed, how light was used, what actually put someone at ease. That experience shapes how I work now. I want you to feel like the camera's barely there, and you're just having a good day that happens to be documented. Having been on both sides of the lens gives me a real sense of what that comfort actually feels like from the inside, not just what it's supposed to look like in a photo.
Favourite things
Fuelled by coffee Sunshine. And disco house music or anything I can sing along too. Travel is really important to me too and I take my camera to different cultures and landscapes whenever I can.

Anna, where do I start! Anna communicated with me months prior to the wedding about my initial ideas and was in the background every step of the way whilst choosing the venue. No idea I had was too adventurous for her and she brought every dream to life. Anna becomes a guest at your wedding, seamlessly fitting in with your family and friends. Because of this everyone around her feels at ease in her presence and the raw emotions she captures from the calm she brings are outstanding as there is no shy away from her or the camera. I had previews the very next day and a full album two weeks later. Anna’s pricing is incredible considering she is hiking up hills and waterfalls to capture a dream! I can’t recommend her enough. I wish I could do it all again and I would pick Anna every single time!

We definitely picked the right photographer when we chose Anna for our elopement at Cragwood. Prior to the date, she asked us what kind of photographs we wanted. We opted for a mostly natural feel.
