Tiana and Jamie – An Elopement with Their Son
Tiana and Jamie’s wedding was one of the most personal days I’ve had the privilege of photographing at Storrs Hall. They eloped with their son, and the team at the venue were brilliant, looking after him so the couple could have their moments together, while making sure he had the best day too.
The Temple of Heroes made for the most beautiful family portraits, and the whole day had a warmth and intimacy that still stays with me.
Suzy & Dan — An Intimate Wedding at the Boathouse
Suzy and Daz had been together a long time before their wedding day, and that ease between them showed in every photograph. They stayed in the boathouse, which gives the day a wonderfully unhurried feel from the start.
It was sunny but blustery, the kind of Lake District weather that actually adds something and the statues by the house provided a striking, characterful backdrop for their portraits. A beautiful celebration for a couple who were utterly themselves throughout.
Jordan and Alastair — A Winter Elopement
Jordan and Alastair chose a crisp winter’s day for their Storrs Hall elopement, and the sunshine made the grounds feel magical. They got ready together, which always sets such a relaxed tone for the day, before an outdoor ceremony filled with light.
We then wandered the estate at our own pace. The woodland provided some of my favourite shots from any wedding I’ve shot here; dancing between the trees with winter light filtering through. It was the kind of day that reminded me why I love this venue so much.
